Take an Early Morning Walk and Get to Know Some Great Children!

Glennwood Elementary School “Safe Routes to School” program is seeking adults who would like to walk with children approximately one mile from Allen Wilson Terrace to Glennwood School. The school “Champions” (parents who organize the school’s Walk and Roll to School) are aiming to organize walks twice a week: Walking Wednesday and Fun Fridays. Six adult volunteers are needed each morning. Volunteers will meet the children at 7am, and the walk to school takes less than 30 minutes You could help out as often as able – once a week, once a month, etc. And you get to wear your very own Orange Vest!!
