Things to Do at Car Free Day Tomorrow

Decatur Active Living will be celebrating Car Free Day in Decatur tomorrow during the Blue Sky Concert on the Square from noon until 1 pm. Walk or bike to the Concert and we will award you with a special sticker or a tattoo. We will also have information on walking and biking and a few other little surprises!

Decatur Police will be joining us and giving Decaturites the opportunity to register their bikes. Why register your  bike? In the event that your bike is lost or stolen, it can be easily identified once it is recovered and you shall have it returned to you. Sounds good, yes?

The Claen Air Campaign's Smog Balloon

The Clean Air Campaign is bringing their “smog balloon” that shows how much exhaust is saved when you use your feet or bike instead of your car for both short and long trips. Click here if you would like to see how Parisians have used a balloon to tell their citizens if they are breathing smog!

Listen to music by Von Grey!

Now, who can work on the weather for us?
